Short description:	The goal othe classes of a monographic character is to familiarize stuents with research methods and tools of 20th century history researcher. Classes shape student's analytical and interpretation skills characteristic for that period, develop the ability to use and profit from already existing auxiliary materials and works in order to get a synthetic image of that period.
Full description:	During the classes students will get to know the methods and working tools of a researcher of the 20th century Polish history - archival materials, printed sources, oral sources and multimedia sources. Classes aim to develop in-depth study and analysis skills, discussion skills and to familiarize with historical criticism of the sources. Classes of a monographic character , present main problems from the Inter-war Polish history, chosen according to lecturer's interests and preferences. Therefore, each of the groups, studies in-depth different topics. The list of subsequent topics, different for each of the groups, are published both- in the syllabus and on the website. Conditions to earn a credit for the course are as follows: attendance, active in-class particiaption, regular preparation accoring to the reading list.

Learning outcomes:	(in Polish) W wyniku zajęć student nabywa umiejętność pogłęłbionego myślenia histroycznego, potrafi dokonać krytycznej analizy materiału źródłowego, jest w stanie przedstawić w trakcie dyskusji swoje udomentowane poglądy, jak też bronić swoich racjii w zakresie interpretacji wydarzeń.
Assessment methods and assessment criteria:	(in Polish) Zaliczenie zajęć odbywa się na podstawie obecności na ćwiczeniach, sprawdzania przez prowadzącego stopnia znajomości i zrozumienia przez studenta lektur (wedle listy zamieszczonej w sylabusach), a także oceny stopnia aktywności studenta w trakcie dyskusji. Prowadzący zajęcia przedstawiają w sylabusach szczegółowe warunki zaliczenia poszczególnych zajęć. Zajęcia kończą się zaliczeniem na ocenę. Prowadzący zajęcia wystawia ocenę na podstawie przebiegu przebiegu zajęć, w indywidualnych przypadkach może też zarządzić zdawanie przez studenta kolokwium ustnego
