  • the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS;
  • the student’s weekly hourly workload is 45 h;
  • 1 ECTS point corresponds to 25-30 hours of student work needed to achieve the assumed learning outcomes;

The aim of the classes is to support their participants in the preparation of diploma theses in the field of research interests of the seminar teachers, especially regarding: traditional music, the presence of traditional music in compositional and popular music, music of minorities, non-European music, place of music in contemporary society, borderline musical phenomena, traditional and historical dance, the relationship of music and dance.

The aim of the classes is to support their participants in the preparation of diploma theses in the field of research interests of the seminar teachers, especially regarding: traditional music, the presence of traditional music in compositional and popular music, music of minorities, non-European music, place of music in contemporary society, borderline musical phenomena, traditional and historical dance, the relationship of music and dance.

Bibliography:

The selection of literature depends on the interests of the participants.

Learning outcomes:

1. Practical mastery of the technique of writing a thesis.

2. Acquiring the ability to select research methodology and research tools.

3. Mastering the ability to discuss, analyze and synthesize the research material.

4. Acquiring the ability to conduct source queries.

5. Practical mastery of selected research methods.

6. Preparation of the thesis.
