Short description: |
During the course selected topics concerning the complexity of interpretation of literary works are discussed. Methods of analysis and interpretation of the text and its criticism are discussed in detail. Theoretical issues are combined with interpretative practice aimed at showing the multilevel understanding of a literary text. |

The student knows: advanced subject and methodological specificity of literary studies advanced literary terminology is advanced in the historical-literary process and understands the impact of historical and cultural changes on its development The student can: formulate and analyze research problems in the field of literature, choose research methods and tools use theoretical approaches, research paradigms and concepts specific to literary studies when communicating with the environment and during debates and discussions recognize different types of literature products and conduct their critical analysis and interpretation in a broader context The student is ready to: critical assessment of knowledge and received content recognizing the importance of knowledge in solving cognitive problems and practical and reaching for expert opinions |

Test Questions: 4 Max points: 12 (4x3) Points and marks: 6,5-8 – 3,0 (dst) 8,5-9 – 3,5 (dst+) 9,5-10 – 4,0 (db) 10,5-11 – 4,5 (db+) 11,5-12 – 5,0 (bdb) 5! - Is able to fau ltlessy answer all questions (max points: 12), refers to knowledge not only from the teaching programme (points: 13). The student has the right to 2 unexcused absences, each subsequent one requires justification. The lecturer decides on the recognition of absence. The student has the right to 2 unexcused absences, each subsequent one requires an excuse. The lecturer decides about the recognition of the absence. Exceeding the absence of excused and unexcused absences for 50% of classes may be grounds for failing the subject. The conditions for passing the subject on the correction date are the same as on the first date. |
