(in Polish) Celem zajęć jest zapoznanie studentów z podstawowymi wiadomościami z zakresu fonetyki, morfologii i składni (wybrane zagadnienia) najstarszego języka literackiego Słowian jako bazy wyjściowej do odtworzenia języka prasłowiańskiego, z którego ukształtowały się wszystkie współczesne języki słowiańskie, a w ich liczbie również język białoruski. |

Student workload: 30 hours – in class, 1 ECTS; 30 hours - preparing for class assignments, 1 ECTS; 30 hours - preparing for the final test, 1 ECTS. Total: 3 ECTS. If it is not possible to conduct classes on university premises, classes shall be held with the aid of distance learning tools, most likely Zoom, Kampus and others recommended by the University of Warsaw. |

Knowledge: the graduate understands and has an advanced knowledge of - the subject and methodological specifics of research in language studies - the terminology of language studies - the nature of language and the impact of historical and cultural changes on its development Skills: the graduate can - formulate and analyse research problems in the area of language studies, choose research methods and tools, including advanced information and communication technology - use theories, research paradigms and concepts common to language studies while communicating with the community and during debates and discussions - substantiate and draw conclusions by using ideas presented by other scholars in Polish and foreign languages Social competencies: the graduate is ready to - critically evaluate his or her knowledge and the content he or she receives - recognise the significance of knowledge in solving epistemic and practical problems as well as resort to expert opinion |

test - grading system: 99 – 100% - 5! (excellent) 93 - 98% - 5 (very good) 87 - 92% - 4,5 (fairly good) 77 - 86% - 4 (good) 71 - 76% - 3,5 (satisfactory plus) 60 - 70% - 3 (satisfactory) Below 60% - 2,0 (unsatisfactory) The student has the right to 2 unexcused absences. The conditions for passing the course on the resit exam are the same as on the ordinary of exam. |
