Prerequisites (description):	(in Polish) Przed rozpoczęciem nauki przedmiotu student powinien posiadać wiedzę z zakresu etniczno-politycznej oraz religijno-kulturowej historii Regionu Europy Środkowo-Wschodniej. Zalecana jest podstawowa wiedza z historii literatury białoruskiej.

Short description:	The aim is to present - using the knowledge passed during the subject "Religious and cultural history of the Region" - history of culture and arts of separate countries of the Region (student chooses two countries). The aim is to consistently draw a historical way with special consideration to borrowings and influences in relation to other countries of the Region.
Full description:	Teaching aims: getting the knowledge about historical and cultural history of Belarussian nation, teaching the skill of thinking in cultural histoical way, it means reffering cultural events to historical issues in the nation life. The creation of Belarussian culture on various stages of history. Christianity and paganity. Polotsk Duchy. The at Lituanian Duchy (the second half of XII cent.- 1569). Belarussian culture during the Republic period (1569-1795). Cultural life of Belarus in the Russian Empire (1795-1917).

Learning outcomes:	(in Polish) Po ukończeniu przedmiotu student: - zna proces rozwoju kultury na Białorusi od X do początku XXI wieków w kontekście historycznym i społecznym; - umie interpretować główne prądy i kierunki kultury białoruskiej; - umie dokonywać analizy poszczególnych dzieł kultury, zwracać szczególną uwagę na jego specyfikę.
Assessment methods and assessment criteria:	(in Polish) Obecność i aktywność na zajęciach, bieżące przygotowanie do zajęć, przygotowanie referatu, analizy lub krótkiego wystąpienia.
