(in Polish) Niniejsze seminarium doktorskie poświęcone jest wybranym zagadnieniom z językoznawstwa kognitywnego. Zagadnienia te obejmują: ucieleśnienie znaczeń językowych, modele kulturowe, społeczno-kulturowe uwarunkowanie znaczeń, metonimię i metaforę w perspektywie multimodalnej. |

Learning outcomes: |
Acquiring knowledge K-W01 The student acquires the understanding of what linguistics is and how it is related to other liberal arts disciplines. K_W02 The student learns terminology of cognitive linguistic as well as expands his/her knowledge of concepts and principles of linguistics. K_W03 The student learns linguistic methodology practiced in the U.S. and the U.K. and acquires the knowledge of theory construction. K_W04 The student expands his/her knowledge of English semantics, grammar and pragmatics with reference to general cognitive abilities and cross-cultural context. K_W09 The student learns how to use research tools and research techniques of cognitive linguistics. K_W19 The student is aware of principles and norms of ethics in science K_W20 The student develops knowledge of how to design his/her own professional path Acquiring expertise K_U01 The student acquires the expertise to use linguistic terminology in a skillful way. K_U02 The student acquires the expertise of how to use linguistic methodology in research projects, and in his/her PhD dissertation in particular. K_UO4 The student masters the ability to present his/her knowledge in a clear and logical way, both in a written form and orally.
