(in Polish) Po kursie na tym poziomie student potrafi zrozumieć dłuższą wypowiedź, wykład oraz nawet złożoną dyskusję pod warunkiem, że temat wypowiedzi jest mu znany. Potrafi zrozumieć większość wiadomości i programów TV, dotyczących bieżących wydarzeń. Rozumie filmy w wersji oryginalnej, jeśli aktorzy posługują się językiem literackim (standardowym). Rozumie artykuły i reportaże dotyczące współczesnych problemów, których autorzy przestawiają szczegółowe opinie i argumenty. Jest w stanie zrozumieć współczesną prozę literacką. Potrafi porozumiewać się z płynnością i spontanicznością, która umożliwia normalną komunikację z rozmówcą posługującym się danym językiem jako ojczystym. Może brać czynny udział w dyskusji, wyjaśniając i podtrzymując swoje poglądy. Potrafi zaprezentować jasny i szczegółowy opis w szerokim zakresie tematów z różnych dziedzin związanych ze swoimi zainteresowaniami. Umie przedstawić swój pogląd na dany temat, podając argumenty za i przeciw. Potrafi napisać przejrzysty, precyzyjny tekst na tematy związane ze swoimi zainteresowaniami. Umie napisać krótki esej lub sprawozdanie, przekazując informacje lub przedstawiając argumenty za i przeciw. Potrafi napisać list, podając istotę i wagę osobistych doświadczeń i wrażeń. Kurs intensywny, poza w/w sprawnościami komunikacyjnymi wprowadza się elementy interkulturowości i wiadomości o charakterze cywilizacyjno-kulturoznawczym Wymagana aktywna, samodzielna praca studenta. |

Learning outcomes: |
B2 level On completing the course, the student: (Skills) 1. explains, both orally and in writing, information presented in a graphic way, as long as it relates to a familiar topic 2. expresses, with a degree of fluency, his/her own opinions on familiar topics and those related to the subject of studies of professional career, presenting appropriate arguments in a debate 3. makes a synthesis of a text (written or spoken), eg. a lecture, an instruction to perform an examination task, presentation, TV programme, relating to a wide range of topics of social, academic or professional life 4. writes a coherent and logical text on familiar topics, eg. a description, an essay, a report, a formal and an informal letter 5. gives a presentation, using an appropriate form and phrases, on professional and academic topics 6. enters into a conversation on everyday topics in a rather fluent and comprehensible way, using culturally accepted verbal and non-verbal means and an appropriate register in both formal and informal situations (Knowledge and Attitudes) 7.makes use of knowledge, acquired during the course, of culture of a given linguistic region 8.cooperates effectively within the group, assigning tasks for himself/herself and others 9. recognizes his/her own learning style and chooses ways for continuing self-development 10. shows tolerance towards a variety of attitudes and opinions in interpersonal contacts. |
Assessment methods and assessment criteria: |
COMPLETION OF LANGUAGE COURSES 1. The following elements are taken into account before assessing the completion of the course: - active participation in language classes (25 per cent) - tests and homework results (25 per cent) - final test result (50 per cent), however, in order to gain a positive mark for completing the course, students must show certain achievements with regard to each of the above categories (no mark will be given to a student who has received 0 per cent in any of the categories, or has not shown any activity in one of them). Grading scale 99-100 per cent - 5( outstanding) 93-98 per cent – 5 (very good) 87-92 per cent - 4+(good plus) 77-86 per cent - 4 (good) 71-76 per cent – 3+ (satisfactory plus) 60-70 per cent – 3 (satisfactory) A student is granted 2 ECTS points for completing a 60-hour-course, which means for achieving expected learning outcomes. 2. In addition, the teacher will define specific detailed principles and criteria for completion of the course and present them to students during the first class in a given academic year. 3. A student has the right to be absent 3 times in one term, consisting of 60 class hours (thirty 2-hour classes) with no need to explain reasons for being absent. At the beginning of the course the teacher will instruct students on how to make up for the absence and complete what they have missed. 4. The mark given for the completion of the course (as well as ECTS points) will enter the University Student Service System (USOS) 5. The unsatisfactory mark can only be given to students who have not shown satisfactory results in tests, homework and the final achievement test. 6. Students should register for language courses themselves during the officially announced registration period only. Similarly, if students want to resign, they have to do that themselves but only during the registration period. |
