The lecture is a survey of major themes and events in American history from the colonial times to World War II.

Full description:

The lecture is a survey of major themes and events in American history from the colonial times to the present. The material is going to be presented in the form of lectures, dealing with the following topics: Colonial North America; Political and economic history from the American Revolution to the Civil War; American society and culture from the American Revolution to the Civil War; Political and economic history from the Civil War to the First World War; American society and culture from the Civil War to the First World War; American politics, society and culture in the 1920s; American society and culture: the Great Depression, WWII.
