Social theory and diagnosis, popular diagnosis and scientific diagnosis. Types of diagnosis and their adoption. Place nad role of diagnosis in the purposeful proceedings. Diagnostic expert’s report and axiological diagnosis. Social – engineering diagnosis. Derivative analysis of some social problems diagnosis. Sociology of social problems and models of expert’s activity and their adoptions.

Prerquisites: Students are conversant with sociological theories of social problems.

The aim of subject: instructing students In conceptions of applying of social theories in identification of social problems, in results of some polish social problems diagnosis, in types of social diagnosis, in their methodological assumptions and in diagnostic procedure; study of main rules of expert’s research (in particular of evaluative research).
