Short description:

Lecture presents the key problems of contemporary social psychology: recent achievements, the progress of experimental methods, practical application of new discoveries.

Full description:

Aims of the course:

- Knowledge of social psychology as a science (the subject, the research methods, the language);

- Knowledge of phenomena, processes and mechanisms regulating social behavior;

- Excitation and deepening interest in psychology.

Lectures = 15 hours

Learning outcomes:

The student learns the system concepts of social psychology, can identify and interpret human behavior in social situations, use of knowledge in his professional career, has the ability to design a study of social phenomena. Effectively interprets the source of information and correctly selects the methods and techniques of research, know how to formulate the conclusions of the studies and present them to the public

KNOWLEDGE

The student:

1.learns the system concepts of social psychology,

2. can identify and interpret human behavior in social situations,

SKILLS

1.use of knowledge in his professional career,

2. has the ability to design a study of social phenomena.

3.effectively interprets the source of information and correctly selects the methods and techniques of research,

4.know how to formulate the conclusions of the studies and present them to the public

Assessment methods and assessment criteria:

The exam is a written test consisting of 30 single-choice questions, where you can get from 0 to 60 points (min.31 a positive p). Total credits gained during exercises and final examination (from 0 to 100 points) is the basis for the evaluation of the subject by the following criteria:

0 - 51 p. - ndst.

52 - 60 p. - dst.

61 - 70 p. - dst.+.

71 - 80 p. - db.

81 - 90 p. - db.+.

91-100 p. - bdb.

of three colloquia during semester - each

assessed on a scale from 0 to 15 points
