Short description:	The introduction to the philosophy of values: the presentation of basic definitions, terminology and types. The presentation of axiological concepts and types of values. The ways that values are present in the process of educational activities. Different attitudes toward the problem of influencing the student and values transmission. The meaning of introception of values in pedagogy: its rules, importance and course. The problem of the heuristics of thinking and the styles of resocializing activities and their axiological pre-assumptions.
Full description:	1.The introduction to the philosophy of values: the presentation of basic definitions, terminology and types. 2. The presentation of axiological concepts and types of values. Chosen concepts of axiology (phenomenological, existential, personalistic, hermeneutical) and their characteristics. 3. The ways that values are present in the process of educational activities. 4.The education as intentional and unintentional transmission of values. Different attitudes toward the problem of influencing the student and values transmission. 5.The problem of autotelic and instrumental values in the context of educational activities. 6. The problem of teleological aspects of education vs. the values that are declared and realized in every day life. 7.The meaning of introception of values in pedagogy: its rules, importance and course. 8. The problem of the heuristics of thinking and the styles of resocializing activities and their axiological pre-assumptions. 9. The correlation and connection of anthropological and axiological convictions.

Learning outcomes:	The student: 1.differentiates specific axiological attitudes and types of values. 2.analyses practical consequences arising from pursuing specific axiological attitudes 3.differentiates autotelic values from instrumental values of social rehabilitation effects. 4.explains the principles and course of processes of values introception in education.
Assessment methods and assessment criteria:	Written examination and active participation in classes.
