Theoretical-practical context of social work. Prevention and educational innovations models addressed to malfunction families: chosen program adequate to local society needs. Diagnosis of local strategies conditions and analyses of chosen problem, field of preventive actions. Social project: pedagogical, psychological, sociological aspects of the project. Analyses of chosen preventive-educational projects realized in Poland and in other chosen countries. Preventive-educational projects constructing. Stages of social project. Preparation (in groups) of social projects for children, young people, risk group families and reflecting local society needs. Defining roles and personal potentials in project realization. Professional competence in social work. |

Theoretical-practical context of social work. Early intervention in social maladjustment prevention. Prevention and educational innovations models addressed to malfunction families: chosen program adequate to local society needs. Diagnosis of local strategies conditions and analyses of chosen problem, field of preventive actions. Course of intentional procedures - characteristics - elements of intentional procedures. Social project - term of social project - pedagogical, psychological, sociological aspects of the project - project structure - project functions. Stages of social project. Analyses of chosen preventive-educational projects realized in Poland and in other chosen countries. Preventive-educational projects constructing. Preparation (in groups) of social projects for children, young people, risk group families and reflecting local society needs. Defining roles and personal potentials in project realization. Professional competence in social work. Contract: genesis, essence, stages, uses Local preventive strategies building: - features of good strategy - process of strategy building - strategy promotion - realization and monitoring of strategy. Learning outcomes: |
Graduates are prepared to construct, realize and evaluate social projects of preventive-educational character as well as interventional - re-socialization ones directed to children, youngsters and families of the high risk groups. Additionally students are prepared to build preventive programs (strategies) reflecting needs of the local environment. They acquire the skill of preparing applications for projects realization. Students will be able to create a social net, a social project and apply most effective methods of work in an open environment with children and youngsters endangered by or socially maladjusted. |
