Short description:	(in Polish) Przedmiot wprowadza w podstawy dyscypliny antropologii prawa oraz dostarcza podstawowych wiadomości o różnych kulturach prawnych współczesności.
Full description:	Introduction to the subject of legal anthropology and the knowledge on the various legal cultures of the contemporary times allowing further orientation in the literature of the subject and conducting research regarding expert appraisement on legal cultures. Curriculum: The course introduces into the history of legal anthropology and its development in the last few decades and presents a few exemplary monographies of the issue (Malinowski, Hoebel, Gluckman, Pospiszil, Sally Falk Moore, Laura Nader) featuring its important stages. In the second part there are presented basic legal cultures of humanity (Indian, Chinese, African, Japanese, common law and civil law). The legal theory of L. Petrazycki embeds both parts of the subject. In the end there are presented various sociological methodologies of the research on legal cultures.

Learning outcomes:	(in Polish) Po ukończeniu zajęć student zna poszczególne kultury prawne, dokonuje analiz porównawczych kultur prawnych (komparatystyka), rozpoznaje wieloaspektowość nakładających się na siebie systemów prawnych (oficjalnego, zwyczajowego, religijnego).
