ECTS credit allocation (and other scores): 4.00 Basic information on ECTS credits allocation principles:
  • the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS;
  • the student’s weekly hourly workload is 45 h;
  • 1 ECTS point corresponds to 25-30 hours of student work needed to achieve the assumed learning outcomes;
  • weekly student workload necessary to achieve the assumed learning outcomes allows to obtain 1.5 ECTS;
  • work required to pass the course, which has been assigned 3 ECTS, constitutes 10% of the semester student load.

Short description:

The course is intended for students planning to analyze qualitative interviews (eg for the purpose of their master’s thesis). The aim of the course it to develop students’ skills in containing complex research material of qualitative interview. In the theoretical part, we will discuss theoretical, ethical and methodological issues of interviews analysis. In the workshop part, we will carry out group projects using qualitative content analysis and discourse analysis, using the MAXQDA program.

Kurs przeznaczony dla osób planujących analizę wywiadów jakościowych (np. na potrzeby pracy magisterskiej). Celem zajęć jest rozwinięcie u osób studenckich umiejętności opanowania złożonego materiału badawczego, jakim jest wywiad jakościowy. W części teoretycznej omówimy założenia metodologiczne i teoretyczne wywiadu jakościowego, m.in. zagadnienia rzetelności i trafności z perspektywy różnych metodologii, różnorodne podejścia teoretyczne i epistemologiczne i wynikające z nich sposoby analizy. Przedyskutujemy także kwestie etyczne: odpowiedzialności osób realizujących badanie, granice interpretacji, bezpieczeństwo danych.

W części warsztatowej zrealizujemy projekty grupowe z wykorzystaniem jakościowej analizy treści oraz analizy dyskursu. Zapoznamy się z funkcjami i sposobem działania programu MAXQDA posiłkując się literaturą dającą praktyczne wskazówki do analizy wywiadów.
