Short description: |
Organizational ethnography is sometimes referred to as ergonography (Barbara Czarniawska), i.e. a record of everyday life in the workplace. Modern human beings spend a large part of their time and energy on work. Employment organizations are a regular feature of everyday life in developed and developing countries. The aim of the course is to familiarize students with qualitative methods in social sciences and to develop their skills to use them to research contemporary workplaces. The course focuses on both research and practical uses. |
