(in Polish) Celem seminarium jest prezentacja wybranych tematów socjologii polityki oraz odnoszących się do nich teorii. Chodzi tyleż o ich poznanie, co o zastosowanie ich do pisania własnych prac naukowych. Ważny obiekt badań socjologii polityki stanowi państwo narodowe. Na naszych oczach przechodzi ono szybką transformację – upada według wielu teoretyków, a według innych się wzmacnia. Zmieniają się też codzienne praktyki obywatelskie. Seminarium posłuży opisowi przemian tych zjawisk i instytucji oraz refleksji nad przyszłością państwa narodowego i demokracji. Czy kryzys państwa narodowego i kryzys demokracji są nieuchronne? Demokratyczną władzę w państwie narodowym zapewniają m.in. cykliczne wybory. Celem zajęć będzie analizowanie procesów wyborczych, w szczególności kampanii wyborczych, poszukiwanie determinant preferencji wyborczych, opis i wyjaśnienie zjawiska absencji wyborczej. |

(in Polish) Celem seminarium jest prezentacja wybranych tematów socjologii polityki oraz odnoszących się do nich teorii. Chodzi tyleż o ich po-znanie, co o zastosowanie ich do pisania własnych prac nauko-wych. Ważny obiekt badań socjologii polityki stanowi państwo narodowe. Na naszych oczach przechodzi ono szybką transformację – upada, według wielu teoretyków, a według innych się wzmacnia. Zmieniają się też codzienne praktyki obywatelskie. Seminarium posłuży opi-sowi przemian tych zjawisk i instytucji oraz refleksji nad przyszło-ścią państwa narodowego i demokracji. Czy kryzys państwa naro-dowego i kryzys demokracji są nieuchronne? Demokratyczną władzę w państwie narodowym zapewniają m.in. cykliczne wybory. Celem zajęć będzie analizowanie procesów wy-borczych, w szczególności kampanii wyborczych, poszukiwanie determinant preferencji wyborczych, opis i wyjaśnienie zjawiska absencji wyborczej. Szczególną uwagę zwrócimy na zagadnienie politycznej komunikacji, a także na dynamikę postaw politycznych społeczeństwa polskiego. 1. Współczesne państwa narodowe – teorie i case studies. Zmiana natury władzy oraz przemiany form ustrojowych w perspektywie historyczno-porównawczej od nowożytności po epokę globalizacji. Praktyczne zastosowanie metod socjologii historycznej. 2. Państwo i zorganizowana przemoc zbiorowa: siły zbrojne, konflikty zbrojne, terroryzm. 3. Państwo, naród i nacjonalizm i ich wzajemne relacje w przeszłości i obecnie. 4. Przyszłość państwa narodowego w warunkach globalizacji: za-gadnienie migracji, tożsamości narodowych, terroryzm, państwa upadłe. 5. Czy kryzys demokracji? Teoria politycznej reprezentacji, studia nad starymi i nowymi ruchami społecznymi. 6. Obywatel i obywatelstwo w świetle teorii i badań empirycznych. 7. Studia nad wyborami parlamentarnymi i prezydenckimi: analiza społecznych determinant preferencji wyborczych; ciągłość i zmiana preferencji wyborczych. 8. Kampanie wyborcze: analiza programów, technik perswazji, de-bat telewizyjnych, kampanii internetowej. 9. Teoria demokracji a reguły wyborów: jak ordynacje wyborcze wpływają na wyniki wyborów. 10. Polityczne ideologie Polaków i ich współczesne manifestacje w mediach, podręcznikach szkolnych, programach partii i ruchów społecznych. |

(in Polish) Ocena ciągła przygotowania i aktywności na zajęciach. Warunkiem zaliczenia zajęć jest złożenie pracy licencjackiej. Dozwolone są dwie nieobecności.Osoby, które były nieobecne więcej razy zaliczają nieobecności przygotowując i wysyłając prowadzącemu streszczenia głównych tekstów z zajęć, na których były nieobecne. Forma i warunki zaliczenia są takie same niezależnie od jego terminu. |
