Short description: |
A workshop is focused on shaping teamwork and team management skills, taking roles in a team, identifying project risks and using techniques to minimize these risks. Full description: |
The aim of the course is to put into practice the most important concepts and tools in the field of project management. During the course, participants of the course will deepen their knowledge and skills in project management, including the use of various tools for supporting management and cooperation (e.g. using Excel to create schedules, budgets, reporting, using selected tools to create a repository and support online collaboration). Participants of the course will become familiar with various concepts, approaches and tools and then use them in the implementation of projects within the course block "Social intervention project". Depending on the project needs and the course of projects, in the case of different topics, the proportions between the introductory part, exercises in the use of a given tool and reflection on the effectiveness of the techniques used and problems that arose in the process may be different. During the course, participants will: -use the project triangle to identify key project elements and evaluate possible changes to the project (scope, budget, schedule) -apply selected time management techniques and discuss their effectiveness -discuss selected problems related to cooperation in a team and methods of preventing them -practice identifying project risks -discuss leadership and explore different leadership styles -practice selected methods of cooperation in a digital environment -practice the use of a spreadsheet in the project management process -compare selected management methodologies (waterfall vs agile) -discuss selected new management trends As part of the course, great emphasis will be placed on shaping project management skills, increasing awareness of the elements and dynamics of the design process and building the competences of a project team member (leader, team member). |
