Short description:

The workshop is devoted to preparation to adavanced data analysis. The classes are practically oriented – they are held in Computer Laboratory with sociological data using SPSS. The list of topics is aimed to prepare use of the basic advanced method of data analysis. They are recognizing types of variables and assigned to them measures of central tendency. Then they are measures of associations: chi-square, correlation and one-way variance. Next they are multivariate analysis: typology (factor analysis, and cluster analysis) and causal multivariate analysis: linear regression, analysis of variance with interactions.
