Zajęcia oferowane w bloku będą dotyczyły ogólnych zagadnień dotyczących ładu społeczno-politycznego i reguł funkcjonowania demokracji, a także szczegółowych obszarów badań socjologii polityki. Oferowany program zajęć ma na celu zapewnić orientację w takich zagadnieniach, jak: • mechanizmy wyborcze; • funkcjonowanie partii politycznych; • marketing polityczny; • mechanizmy konfliktów politycznych; • funkcjonowanie administracji publicznej; • teorie gier i ich zastosowanie; • zastosowania socjologii w dziedzinie polityk publicznych Na zajęciach oferowanych w ramach bloku studenci poznają ilościowe i jakościowe techniki badawcze wykorzystywane w badaniach politycznych i społecznych. Zapoznają się dziedzinami pokrewnymi socjologii polityki: socjologii ekonomicznej, socjologii prawa.
