ECTS credit allocation (and other scores):	2.00 Basic information on ECTS credits allocation principles: the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS; the student’s weekly hourly workload is 45 h; 1 ECTS point corresponds to 25-30 hours of student work needed to achieve the assumed learning outcomes; weekly student workload necessary to achieve the assumed learning outcomes allows to obtain 1.5 ECTS; work required to pass the course, which has been assigned 3 ECTS, constitutes 10% of the semester student load. view allocation of credits

Prerequisites (description):	(in Polish) Poziom wiedzy i umiejętności ogólnych, wynikający ze zdania egzaminu dojrzałości. Dodatkowo w przyswajaniu materiału i dalszym posługiwaniu się językiem japońskim pomogą: dobra znajomość języków obcych i zainteresowania lingwistyczne.

Short description:	Subject of the class is basic problems of grammar of standard modern Japanese language (i.e. hyōjungo); the aim is developing of an understanding and practical ability to use constructions introduced during this class and other Japanese language classes.
Full description:	Subject of the class is basic problems of grammar of standard modern Japanese language (i.e. hyōjungo), its phonetics, syntax, inflection, word formation etc. Constructions studied during the classes are introduced accordingly with the subjects of the Knowledge of the Japanese Language lecture and also other Japanese language classes (speciality subjects). The stress is put on accquiring of practical ability to build conjugational forms of verbs and adjectives, automatic and correct use of these forms in proper constructions; functional usage of all parts of speech, especially particles and others with important grammatical meaning; ability to construct correct simple and compound sentences and to translate correctly between Polish and Japanese languages, with taking into consideration the grammatical and stylistic identity of both languages.
Learning outcomes:	Student after completing the course: Knowledge – has extensive knowledge of Japanese language (its structure, grammar, history, script) (K_W12) – is aware of the complex nature of Japanese language, its place and significance in the cultural and historical context of Japan (K_W13) – has rudimentary knowledge of translation rules from Japanese language into Polish (K_W15) Skills – has a command of Japanese language at the B2 level (K_U12) – can translate literary texts and writings from Japanese language into Polish (K_U14) – can properly function in the linguistic and cultural environment of Japan (K_U17) Social Competences – understands the need to learn all one’s life (K_K01)
Assessment methods and assessment criteria:	(in Polish) Przedmiot kończy pisemne zaliczenie na ocenę w czasie sesji egzaminacyjnej. Nie ma możliwości egzaminu w terminie zerowym. Ponadto na ocenę mogą mieć wpływ następujące czynniki: – obecność na zajęciach; – przygotowanie do zajęć, aktywność na zajęciach, opanowanie materiału bieżącego, – śródsemestralne testy, których zaliczenie jest warunkiem dopuszczenia do zaliczenia semestralnego w sesji. Dozwolone są dwie nieobecności nieusprawiedliwione w ciągu semestru. Ponadto akceptowane są zwolnienia lekarskie (opisane: niezdolny do zajęć z powodu choroby lub o podobnej treści).
