  • the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS;

Short description:

The seminar prepares the student to write a bachelor's thesis of the first degree of studies (bachelor's degree), meeting the requirements for scientific papers and the BA exam.

Full description:

The seminar prepares the student to write a bachelor's thesis of the first degree of studies (bachelor's degree), meeting the requirements for scientific papers and the BA exam. Participants are required to actively participate, including preparing papers on selected topics in the field of literature or history, or religion and philosophy, or aesthetics and art, or Japanese linguistics. During the course, the student should demonstrate the ability to collect and analyze materials, use research apparatus, present the state of research in the field, and the ability to synthesize. In the last stage of work, the student writes a bachelor thesis and presents its fragments at the seminar.

Bibliography:

Methodological literature in the field of historiography, Japanese studies and specialized literature selected depending on the topic of the thesis.
