Short description:

Reading modern Hebrew texts (from the 19th century till today) in the field of Judaism, Zionist thought, Jewish philosophy, modern Hebrew literature and also Israeli culture and current problems in the Israeli society.

Full description:

Reading modern Hebrew texts (from the 19th century till today) in the field of Judaism, Zionist thought, Jewish philosophy, modern Hebrew literature and also Israeli culture and current problems in the Israeli society.

The aim of the course is to read and analyze sources in modern Hebrew, and to perfect the skills of the students in reading, understanding, discussing and writing about any scientific subject in Hebrew studies. In that way no text or source in Hebrew will be an obstacle for them in their studies and M.A. thesis.
