ECTS credit allocation (and other scores):	3.00 Basic information on ECTS credits allocation principles: the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS; the student’s weekly hourly workload is 45 h; 1 ECTS point corresponds to 25-30 hours of student work needed to achieve the assumed learning outcomes; weekly student workload necessary to achieve the assumed learning outcomes allows to obtain 1.5 ECTS; work required to pass the course, which has been assigned 3 ECTS, constitutes 10% of the semester student load.

Short description:	The purpose of exercises it to teach students how to create and use the basic grammatical elements of contemporary Turkish. Students learn to compose simple and complex syntactic expressions as well as clauses loaned form Indo European languages. The adjunctive syntactic expressions are discussed and taught very thoroughly. A special emphasis is put on the expressions containing a verbal noun or its groups in function of defined and defining element.
Full description:	(in Polish) 1. Ćwiczenia harmonii samogłosek i spółgłosek. 2. Zdania nominalne z morfologiczną postacią czasownika „być”. 3. Zdania z okolicznikiem miejsca (stosowanie orzeczeń imiennych). 4. Ćwiczenia w stosowaniu sufiksów dzierżawczych. 5. Ćwiczenia w posługiwaniu się czasem przeszłym czasownika „być”. 6. Czas teraźniejszy – zdania z morfemami przypadków. 7. Proste zdania z morfemami przypadków i sufiksami dzierżawczymi. 8. Zastosowanie liczby mnogiej wraz z liczebnikami. 9. Ćwiczenia w posługiwaniu się czasem przeszłym. 10. Zastosowanie w praktyce czasu teraźniejszo-przyszłego. 11. Budowanie i praktyczne zastosowanie konstrukcji „tamlama”. 12. Formy możliwości i niemożliwości 13. Konstrukcja w związku przynależności w funkcji dopełnienia bliższego i dalszego (zastosowania praktyczne imion odsłownych tworzonych przez morfemy –ma, –dık, – (y)acak. 14. Strona bierna (proste zdania z użyciem konstrukcji „tamlama”). 15. Zastosowanie konwerbiów.

Learning outcomes:	Knowledge: o has extensive knowledge of the Turkish language (its structure, history, script) [K_W12] o is aware of the complex nature of Turkish language, its place and significance in the cultural and historical context of Turkey and Middle East [K_W13] o has rudimentary knowledge of translation rules from Turkish into Polish [K_W15] Skills: o has a good command of Turkish at the A2+ level [K_U12] o can translate simple literary texts and writings from Turkish into Polish [K_U14] o can fluently use the script of Turkish and the necessary tools to learn and analyze it (traditional and electronic dictionaries, lexicons, linguistic corpora, data bases, etc.) [K_U16] o can properly function in the linguistic and cultural environment of Turkey - with a command of Turkish at the A2+ level [K_U17] o can use electronic and internet tools both in Polish and Turkish [K_U24] Social competences o understands the need to learn all one’s life [K_K01] o can cooperate and work in a group as well as forge relationships and build social relations [K_K02] o can establish relations and cooperate with representatives of other cultures [K_K03]
