(in Polish) Zajęcia są wprowadzeniem do japońskiej tradycyjnej sztuki drogi herbaty, zaprojektowanym dla studentów II roku licencjatu Japonistyki. Zajęcia obejmują rozbudowaną część praktyczną, podczas której studenci przyswajają sobie etykietę niezbędną do funkcjonowania w japońskiej przestrzeni tradycyjnej. |

(in Polish) Kurs dotyczy zjawiska chanoyu – jego miejsca w japońskiej historii i kulturze. Studenci zapoznają się z podstawowymi założeniami sztuki drogi herbaty, opracowują tematy związane z historycznymi początkami tej sztuki (postacie Muraty Shukō, Takeno Jōō, Sen no Rikyū), poznają podstawowe terminy z dziedziny myśli herbacianej (wa-kei-sei-jaku, wabi, sōan chanoyu, ichigo ichie, shichū no sankyo, ichiza konryū). Kurs posiada rozbudowaną część praktyczną realizowaną na matach tatami w pokoju herbacianym Kaian w przestrzeni BUW. Dzięki temu studenci zdobywają też praktyczne umiejętności, mają okazję bezpośrednio spotkać się z wytworami japońskiego rękodzieła, uczą się dbać o sprzęty, w praktyce poznają japońską etykietę, oswajają się z tradycyjną przestrzenią i uczą się prawidłowo z niej korzystać. |

| Learning outcomes: |
The students will be able to present, using the vocabulary of this field, the basic issues of the Japanese Way of Tea, its history, aesthetics and philosophy. They will also experience tea in its traditional environment practicing on tatami mats, which enables them to become more familiar with Japanese traditional space. They can act according to the guests' etiquette during a tea gathering, it is easier for them to enter Japanese traditional culture environments and they do so with deeper awareness. The necessity to learn from their older more experienced colleagues develops the ability of cooperation and communication. Class calls for particular concentration and physical and mental effort, therefore it hardens the spirit. The nature of the Way of Tea also awakens openness towards the other, empathy, mutual understanding and the notion of mutual ties. After the course the student: Knowledge: – has detailed and organized knowledge of art and aesthetics of Japan (K_W08); – is aware oe between cultures (K_K06); – is aware of significance the Japanese culture has for the culture of the world (K_K07); – acts in aid of sharing and promoting cultural and linguistic heritage of Japan (K_K08) |
