Short description: |
The purpose of the seminar is to examine the how the political Left has responded and even incorporated automation technologies (from industrial machines to artificial general intelligence) into their struggle for social and political autonomy. This course is proposed for the Winter and Summer sessions and is divided into three thematic modules: Origins of Critique, the Automated Left, and Critical Algorithmic Practices. |
