Short description:

The „Cross-Civilizational Meetings” aim is to acquire the ability to transform information into knowledge and to translate acquired knowledge into intercultural dialogue. The intercultural communication, a dialogue requires few conditions: the awerness of owns culture and its codes and the ability to go beyond one's own culture. The deconstruction is a tool that enables this process. Such knowledge and ability is helpufull to overcome the adaptive problems experienced by almost every foreigner and to create more innovative and interactive programs for foreigners at UW. On the other hand this tools are helpuful to everyone in todays world.
