ECTS credit allocation (and other scores):	15.00 Basic information on ECTS credits allocation principles: the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS; the student’s weekly hourly workload is 45 h; 1 ECTS point corresponds to 25-30 hours of student work needed to achieve the assumed learning outcomes; weekly student workload necessary to achieve the assumed learning outcomes allows to obtain 1.5 ECTS; work required to pass the course, which has been assigned 3 ECTS, constitutes 10% of the semester student load.

Short description:	The seminar Human and Animal – Animal and Human is held in two groups: Group I Animal in Culture – Animal in Society Group II Animal and Environment – Animal and Sentience/Experience Students choose their seminar group according to their interests and the subject matter of their BA thesis.
Full description:	(in Polish) Seminarium Człowiek i zwierzę – Zwierzę i człowiek (Human and Animal – Animal and Human) odbywa się w dwóch grupach: Grupa I Zwierzę w kulturze (Animal in Culture) – Zwierzę w społeczeństwie (Animal in Society) Grupa II Zwierzę i środowisko (Animal and Environment) – Zwierzę i doświadczanie (Animal and Experience) Studenci wybierają grupę seminaryjną, zgodnie ze swoimi zainteresowaniami i problematyką pracy dyplomowej. Seminarium w obu grupach ma podobny przebieg i charakter. Rama organizacyjna zajęć opiera się na dwóch komponentach: teoretycznym i praktycznym towarzyszeniu studentom w pisaniu prac. Aspekt teoretyczny polega na dyskusjach nad wybranymi lekturami, które prowadzący wybierają dla swojej grupy. Aspekt praktyczny ma służyć temu, by pod koniec I semestru studenci zaprezentowali uzgodnione z promotorami tematy i konspekty swoich prac (z uwzględnieniem metodologii). Na początku I semestru w każdej z grup odbędą się konsultacje dotyczące tematyki prac licencjackich poszczególnych studentów. W drugim semestrze studenci będę prezentować dalsze postępy w pisaniu i przedstawiać fragmenty swoich prac.
