Short description: |
The course analyses animal characters in literary texts on the example of selected works of literature. During such case-study analyses, students will learn about different ways of building animal characters and their place in works of literature. The analysis will consider the means through which writers portray animals, attempt to express the animal perspective and animal experience, and the position and role of animals in literary works. |
