Short description: |
The aim to complete and ground fundamental issues related to functioning of the internal market of the European Union that are presented during lectures. Selected judgments the CJEU are discussed during the course. |

Classes are based on analysis of selected ETS cases. Students are obliged to prepare all cases themselves according to instructions of the lecturer. Learning outcomes: |
After completion of the learning process, the student: 1. knows the rules of European economic law 2. familiar with the functions and main principles of European economic law 3. knows the difference between the provisions directed to the Member and facing businesses 4. subjected to a critical analysis of the functioning of the law in practice and their impact on businesses and individuals 5. assess the impact of the application of the legal situation of individuals (direct effect) 6. interprets European law, as interpreted by the courts of the EU |
