The main aim of this workshop will be to practice 3 soft skills crucial from the point of view of employers, i.e. communication, critical thinking and creativity. |
Full description: |
The main aim of this workshop is focusing on developing key soft skills pointed out by employers in national and international research, i.e. communication, critical thinking and creativity. We will encourage reflective thinking during learning activities, work with self-assessment and experiencing. The outline of the course (4 classes): Soft Skills Club (introduction, rules, technology) Communication (assertiveness, responsibility, intent, good question) Critical thinking (perception, memory, heuristics, logical thinking) Creativity (setting boundries, iteration, mistake, what mistake - when you are creative there is no such thing as a mistake) Attention! Course, or its fragments, may be conducted in English. Student's workload: reading of the course material - 10 h preparation to the final exam - 5 h total - 15 h |

Assessment methods and assessment criteria: |
Course completion and certificate will be granted on the basis of: students’ presence and active participation during all 4 classes, short essay reflecting on the course (300 words), completed self-assessment form. |
