The module includes two other subjects: the art of writing and research methodology. Culture of presentation, a course offered in the first semester of study, aims to help students with effective, independent gathering of knowledge in their respective fields of study and then properly arranging and presenting it both in the academic community and outside it.

Full description:

Culture of presentation prepares students for effectively using the knowledge and skills acquired in the course of their study. The course includes practical training: preparing individual oral presentations, team projects, and peer assessment of progress in the communication skills practised in class.

Proposed reading will provide a theoretical background and serve to develop a strategy for studying selected topics from a given course of study and preparing presentations, reports, participation in debates.

Students should gather their achievements from the whole year, written papers, experiences and thoughts in a portfolio.

Apart from attendance, students are expected to put in at least 30 hours of work in their own time.
