  • the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS;
  • the student’s weekly hourly workload is 45 h;
  • 1 ECTS point corresponds to 25-30 hours of student work needed to achieve the assumed learning outcomes;
  • weekly student workload necessary to achieve the assumed learning outcomes allows to obtain 1.5 ECTS;

Prerequisites (description):

Health declaration - after knowing the ruls of the sport section of the University of Warsaw I declare, that Im healthy and I can fully take part in these exercises. In case of any difficulties, I will inform the teacher.

Short description:

Functional And Careful Training System (FACTS) has been developed for fitness groups. It aims to improve the functioning of the body during everyday life. The exercises, which are based on primary motion patterns, develop balance between the mobility and stability of the body, enhance proprioception (“deep senses”) and improve strength and endurance.

Full description:

FACTS consists of three modules, which may be carried out either on a separate basis or as a single integrated workout:

- MOVEMENT FACTS: mobility, stability and balance;

- HIT FACTS: interval training, strength and endurance;

- FASCIAL FACTS: regeneration, massage and stretching.

Learning outcomes:

Students:

- will acquire the general knowledge of the human body and its functioning;

- will be able to exercise safely;

- will learn how to work in a team;

- will understand the need to stay fit in order to remain healthy;

- will be able to use sports equipment correctly;

- will develop special motor skills under the guidance of the Physical Education and Sports Centre’s staff.
