  • the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS;
  • the student’s weekly hourly workload is 45 h;
  • 1 ECTS point corresponds to 25-30 hours of student work needed to achieve the assumed learning outcomes;
  • weekly student workload necessary to achieve the assumed learning outcomes allows to obtain 1.5 ECTS;
  • work required to pass the course, which has been assigned 3 ECTS, constitutes 10% of the semester student load.

Prerequisites (description):

(in Polish) Health declaration - after knowing the ruls of the sport section of the University of Warsaw I declare, that Im healthy and I can fully take part in these exercises. In case of any difficulties, I will inform the teacher.

Short description: (in Polish)

Stretching workout to improve muscle elasticity and increase joint mobility.

Full description: (in Polish)

The workout is based on stretching exercises which increase joint mobility. Training also involves exercises which strengthen all the key muscle groups mixed with selected yoga asanas. Some pieces of equipment, i.e. wooden blocks and stripes, are used.

The purpose of the classes is to:

– increase general motor fitness

– develop active leisure habits

– enhance basic motor characteristics

– ensure proper posture

– combine exercise of both body and mind.

Learning outcomes: (in Polish)

Students:

- will acquire the general knowledge of the human body and its functioning;

- will be able to exercise safely;

- will learn how to work in a team;

- will understand the need to stay fit in order to remain healthy;

- will be able to use sports equipment correctly;

- will develop special motor skills under the guidance of the Physical Education and Sports Centre’s staff.

Assessment methods and assessment criteria: (in Polish)

The basis for passing the course is systematic and active participation in classes.
