Prerequisites (description):	Students are required to demonstrate motor skills and knowledge of basic techniques, which will enable them to perform tasks on the adequate level during both training and competition. Performance will be assessed individually by the instructor based on test results or one’s competition record.
Short description:	Students will develop physical fitness and sports skills related to badminton. In training and games, students will improve their technical and tactical skills.
Full description:	Classes improve students’ motor skills and increase their physical fitness. They involve exercises to develop motor skills, as well as badminton techniques and tactics. Students will compete mainly in local or regional university competitions, and, potentially, national or international ones, in which they will compete for the University of Warsaw
Learning outcomes:	Students: - will acquire the general knowledge of the human body and its functioning; - will be able to exercise safely; - will learn how to work in a team; - will understand the need to stay fit in order to remain healthy; - will be able to use sports equipment correctly; - will develop special motor skills under the guidance of the Physical Education and Sports Centre’s staff.
Assessment methods and assessment criteria:	The PE credit is earned for regular attendance and active participation in training sessions.
