Special judo training will enable students to learn new techniques and perfect the ones they have learnt before. Each student will have a chance to learn hand throws (te-waza), hip throws (koshi-waza), foot throws (ashi-waza) and sacrifice throws (sutemi-waza). In addition, students will learn how to combine techniques in attacks and study trends in the development of particular techniques and their combinations. Students will also be able to perfect their skills and learn new techniques applied from a non-standing position (ne-waza). Furthermore, they will study sport judo rules and their referee interpretations. The judo section will enable students to compete in sports events that match their skills: internal club tournaments for beginner groups, ‘First Step’ tournaments for students of Warsaw universities, University Championships of Poland and Polish Cup tournaments.
