ECTS credit allocation (and other scores): 2.00 Basic information on ECTS credits allocation principles:
  • the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS;
  • the student’s weekly hourly workload is 45 h;
  • 1 ECTS point corresponds to 25-30 hours of student work needed to achieve the assumed learning outcomes;
  • weekly student workload necessary to achieve the assumed learning outcomes allows to obtain 1.5 ECTS;
  • work required to pass the course, which has been assigned 3 ECTS, constitutes 10% of the semester student load.

Short description:

Upon completion a student can understand the main ideas of complex written texts on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in his/her field of specialization; s/he can interact in writing with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party; s/he can produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and present information on a topical issue.

Po zarajestrowaniu się na stronach systemu USOS, przed rozpoczęciem kursu należy wejść na platformę edukacyjną COME UW http://jezyki.ckc.uw.edu.pl i zalogować na kurs. Tylko w ten sposób mogą Państwo wziąć udział w kursie.

Po kursie na tym poziomie student potrafi zrozumieć dłuższą wypowiedź pisemną, pod warunkiem, że temat wypowiedzi jest mu znany. Rozumie teksty dotyczące współczesnych problemów, których autorzy przestawiają szczegółowe opinie i argumenty. Jest w stanie zrozumieć współczesną prozę literacką. Potrafi porozumiewać się w piśmie z płynnością, która umożliwia normalną komunikację z rozmówcą posługującym się danym językiem jako ojczystym. . Potrafi zaprezentować pisemnie jasny i szczegółowy opis w szerokim zakresie tematów z różnych dziedzin związanych ze swoimi zainteresowaniami. Potrafi napisać przejrzysty, precyzyjny tekst streszczający poznany materiał pisemny. Umie napisać krótki tekst, przekazując informacje lub przytaczając argumenty za i przeciw.
