Full description:

Upon completion a student can understand the main ideas of complex texts on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in his/her field of specialization; s/he can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party; s/he can produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.

Learning outcomes:

The student can find desired information in the right parts of a research report from the field of biology, chemistry and related sciences, paraphrase and/or translate a short part of text.

The student can present results of research using Zoom (as a participant) and host a meeting on Google Meet.

The student will be able to take notes efficiently/ answer the questions/ find adequate information both in written and audio/video materials in the field of biology, chemistry and related sciences, also paraphrase and translate a short part of a text.

The student will know how to make a presentation and share the results of research using Google Meet or Meet Jits.

The student will be able to take part in a discussion and give their arguments.
