Short description:

Topics include, filing of charges, discretion of the District Attorney, Search and Arrest Warrants, The Exclusionary Rule, Stop and Frisk,California's Three Strikes Law, Sentencing, Probation, Diversion Programs, Appeals, The Death Penalty, Jury Trials and Jury Selection, an Opening Statement in a Murder case, The Hearsay rule, The Miranda Rule, Plea Bargaining , and Victim -Witness assistance Programs.

The lectures are supported by an outline and attachments of significant documents ( like a search warrant, etc) and Power Point presentation from actual cases.
