Short description: |
The purpose of the teaching practice is to provide the student with knowledge and skills to practice teaching at the third stage of education. Practice is organized in those types of schools and institutions where the graduate obtains qualifications. Graduates through the the teaching practice are prepared both in the field of teaching the subject (conducting classes), as well as carrying out educational and supervising tasks. During the teaching practice, the student is provided with the following forms of activity: observing classes, assisting the teacher conducting the classes, self-conducting classes, planning and discussing classes conducted by himself and others (teachers, students). The practice is conducted and settled according to the detailed regulations available on the e-learning Kampus .platform. |

The main objectives of the teaching practice at the 3rd educational stage: 1. Getting to know the specifics of work and the scope of didactic duties, educational and organizational English teacher 2. Acquiring the ability to observe and document the lesson, and independent conducting English lessons. 3. Acquiring the ability to analyze the work of an English teacher and students during discussing internships with the teacher-mentor and during didactic classes present. 4. Acquiring the ability to analyze your own didactic and educational work and its effects and students' own work. 5. Acquaintance with emotional and intellectual behavior and functioning social children and youth. 6. Acquiring pedagogical diagnosis skills, planning didactic and educational work taking into account individual differences of students. 7. To make students - future English teachers - aware of problems appearing in the education and upbringing of children and adolescents (biopsychic, social, economic). |

The rules for carrying out teaching practice are set out in Resolution No. 22 of the Teaching Council for the field of teaching foreign languages, according to which, point 4: "Teaching practice is carried out in primary schools which employ teachers whose qualifications are specified in the regulations issued on the basis of Article 9 para. 2 of the Act of January 26, 1982 - Teacher's Charter". |
