Jacek Kwiatkowski

Assoc.Prof.PhD.Arch. Jacek Kwiatkowski - Expert in theory of space and new urban concepts, assistant professor at the Chair of Urban Geography and Spatial Planning of the Faculty of Geography and Regional Studies at the University of Warsaw. He received a distinction for best scientific paper in the National Competition of the Minister of Infrastructure for his doctoral thesis on changes in the development of divided cities. His habilitation dissertation on the theory of space in Suprematism was distinguished by the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology. During the 2011–2014 term, following his appointment, he served as a Scientific Consultant of the “Poland 2000 Plus” Forecast Committee of the Presidium of the Polish Academy of Sciences. He wrote numerous publications on the development of modern cities, served multiple times in the bodies of Program Councils or as an expert of numerous international conferences and congresses.
