Interests
Krzysztof Górny – doctor and political and historical geographer at the Faculty of Geography and Regional Studies of the University of Warsaw. His Doctoral Thesis (2020) involved the colonial heritage in contemporary urban space of West African cities. He is currently working on a project focusing on Portuguese colonial heritage in the urban space of West African countries and he conducted fieldwork on the topic in Cape Verde, Guinea Bissau, Ghana and São Tomé and Príncipe. He is also interested in the political landscape of post-Communist cities of CEECs. He is the author and co-author of over 20 publications, including those in prestigious journals such as: ‘Planning Perspectives’, 'Journal of Urban History' and 'Journal of Baltic Studies'.
