Założenia (opisowo): | (tylko po angielsku) A course in civil and criminal court litigation, and arbitration. The skills taught are universal, but the procedural model used is that applied in England and Wales. The course is taught entirely in English and taught by English-qualified barristers and academics, for both Polish and foreign students. |

(tylko po angielsku) The objectives of the course are to: • Introduce students to the rules and techniques of specialised trial advocacy • Introduce students to practical skills that are necessary for every lawyer (whether civil or criminal and regardless of their country of practice). • Skills include: case management, oral advocacy, written advocacy, legal research and witness handling (direct and cross examination techniques). • Introduce students to comparative and internationally recognised rules of evidence in civil hearings and international arbitration. • Evaluate students’ performance as trial lawyers in (fictional but realistic) legal proceedings To fulfil the objectives of the course, students will be given real a real case scenario at the beginning of the course, and each week the seminars will focus on specific skills relevant to the case scenario. |
