Its aim is to show different research directions in space of archaeology, history, religion and art of ancient Egypt. Each class will be devoted to different aspect of the Egyptian culture with further reading references: 1. Egypt in context – geography, climate 2. Natural resources of Egypt and craft– stone and metals 3. Natural resources of Egypt and craft – wood and other organic materials 4. Chronology of ancient Egypt – sources and establishing 5. (tylko po angielsku) -the student knows the basic terminology connected with the culture of ancient Egypt -the student has an in-depth knowledge of the methodology and terminology concerning the research on the culture of ancient Egypt -the student is able to analyze and interpret the extended level of information from the publications relating to the culture of ancient Egypt -the student is able to use and analyze information about the archaeological sources -the student can independently interpret the archaeological sources using appropriate research methods -the student can independently acquire information and develop research ideas -the student knows how to classify and document artifacts of material culture of ancient Egypt -the student is able to analyze and classify sources of culture of ancient Egypt -the student knows the latest theories, on the basis of which draws its own conclusions -the student is able to communicate with the relevant specialists in the field of ancient Egypt -the student is able to prepare written work using appropriate reference material for the culture of ancient Egypt -the student is able to prepare long oral statement concerning issues related to the culture of ancient Egypt -the student knows the level of their own knowledge, understand the need for further learning, and broaden its skills in the culture of ancient Egypt |
