Short description: |
The aim of the course is the preparation of future teaches to the role of form masters. The following problems on discussed: the effective teacher, the styles of conflict solving, interpersonal behaviour, aggression, and the art of presentation. |

Pedagogics I for students of mathematics. Program: 1. Teachers competencies. 2. The art of presentation: structure, style and content of presentation. 3. Verbal and nonverbal transmission. 4. Class as a social group. 5. Type of behavior: aggressive, passive and assertive. 6. Conflict situation. 7. Solving of conflict situation. 8. The figure of the form master. Requirements for passing the course Attending classes, more 50% points on the examination test Marking criteria: acceptable: 55% - 69% of eligible points, good: 70% - 85% of eligible points, very good: more than 85% of eligible points. Learning outcomes: |
After completing the course, the student: 1. Demonstrates the knowledge of teacher competences successful in educational work; 2. Distinguishes the abilities of aggressive, assertive and passive behaviour of pupils; 3. Can point out the reasons of aggressive behaviour of pupils; 4. Can apply the proper methods of conflict solving in school situations; 5. Can adjust the style, the structure and the content of a public performance to the aim of the presentation; 6. Can consciously control the non-verbal behaviour (posture, gestures, mimics) during public performance. |
