Types of land and methods of determining their basic features, sedimentation and post-sedimentation structures, sedimentological indicators and their interpretative meaning. |
Full description: |
Overview of soil types and their main properties. Selected methods of soil testing (determination of bulk density, grain size composition, organic matter content, moisture, porosity etc.). Soil classifications. Textural and structural features of sediments. Post-sedimentation structures. Bedding types. Selected methods of quaternary sediment research and their interpretation. |
