ECTS credit allocation (and other scores):	12.00 Basic information on ECTS credits allocation principles: the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS; the student’s weekly hourly workload is 45 h; 1 ECTS point corresponds to 25-30 hours of student work needed to achieve the assumed learning outcomes; weekly student workload necessary to achieve the assumed learning outcomes allows to obtain 1.5 ECTS; work required to pass the course, which has been assigned 3 ECTS, constitutes 10% of the semester student load.

Short description:	The organization and function of Polish public administration: the theoretical and legal background; the organization and function of administrative law and the institutions of public administration; the practical application of administrative law in public administration.
Full description:	The subject matter of this series of lectures, which is in three parts, is the organization and function of Polish public administration. The first part concerns the theoretical and legal background. The second part concerns the organization and function of administrative law and the institutions of public administration. The third part concerns how the theory works in practice, presenting the most important acts concerning public administration such as those relating to the provision of electricity and telecommunications. This course provides an introduction to the Polish public administrative legal system both in terms of its theoretical background and its practical application. As such it provides an essential base for those interested in studying the Polish administrative legal system.
