Brief description

Engineering geology is a branch of geology and engineering. It deals with solving engineering and environmental problems that result from the interactions between the geological environment and a structure/building or a type of spatial management, as well as selection of remediation and preventive measures against geological hazards.

Models of the geological-engineering environment. Basic rules of documenting the engineering geological environment. Assessment of the feasibility of laboratory and field analyses in documenting the condition of the engineering geological environment. Principles of predicting the changes of engineering geological environment. Geohazards.

(in Polish) W trakcie wykładu prezentowana jest problematyka dotycząca występowania wód mineralnych, leczniczych i termalnych na terenie Polski.

Główny akcent położony jest na aspekt regionalny pod kątem występowania i genezy wód podziemnych wykorzystywanych w lecznictwie uzdrowiskowym.
