Brief description

(in Polish) Przedmiot poświęcony jest koncepcji zarządzania wielopoziomowego, opracowanej i stosowanej głównie w odniesieniu do systemu politycznego Unii Europejskiej (UE). Nakreślona jest historia rozwoju badań nad integracją europejską i omówione poszczególne podejścia koncepcyjne (m.in. intergouvermentalizm i neofunkcjonalizm). W drugiej części zajęć wskazana jest inna możliwość empirycznego zastosowania omawianej koncepcji – zarządzanie metropolitalne. Patrzenie na obszary metropolitalne przez pryzmat podejścia wielopoziomowego pozwala pełniej wyjaśnić problemy związane z organizacją tych obszarów. Trudności w koordynacji ogólnometropolitalnej omówione są na przykładzie europejskich doświadczeń w zarządzaniu metropolitalnym. Przywołuje się także doświadczenia polskie oraz dyskusję nad wprowadzeniem ustawy metropolitalnej. Cykl kończy podsumowujące zestawienie cech UE i obszarów metropolitalnych z punktu widzenia struktur wielopoziomowych oraz wskazanie słabych punktów tej koncepcji.
