Brief description
(in Polish) Wykład jest prowadzony od roku akademickiego 2018/2019 i stopniowo ewoluuje w miarę zdobywania nowych doświadczeń.Część wykładowa jest ilustrowana slajdami w ramach serii tematycznych prezentacji. Przykładowe zagadnienia omawiane i prezentowane w ten sposób, to: brzeg (morza, rzeki, jeziora), góry, piasek, itp. W toku wykładu/prezentacji są one rozwijane w formę drzewa skojarzeń geograficznych (matching, znany z teorii grafów) przy wydatnym udziale studentów, przejście od definicji do klasyfikacji (np. brzegów morskich), ich rozwoju (procesy rozwoju), ich roli (granice naturalne, administracyjne, granice zasięgu, szlaki migracji, strefy zbieractwa (paleolit europejski), miejsce działalności człowieka, budowy portów, rola w transporcie, miasta światowe. Także znaczenie w światowej, masowej turystyce, w rekreacji, medycynie itp.. Militarne znaczenie brzegów. Brzeg jako element tożsamości. Opcjonalnie: brzeg jako natchnienie artystów, poetów, itd. |

(in Polish) W trakcie wykładów omówiona zostanie historia homo sapiens od powstania gatunku do wytworzenia się pierwszych cywilizacji. Następnie omówione zostaną losy kolejnych cywilizacji, a także różne aspekty ich rywalizacji oraz przenikania się. Osią narracji będzie podążanie od jednej wielkiej rewolucji w dziejach człowieka, do kolejnej. |

The topics of the lectures concern the geography of globalisation. Global processes and their consequences for the development of countries and regions are discussed. Among the many issues related to development processes special emphasis is placed on social, cultural, political and economic issues. The general issues presented are illustrated with examples from various regions of the world. |

(in Polish) Pojęcie mierników i wskaźników, odpowiedni sposób ich doboru: - wskaźnik Giniego , krzywa Lorenza - wskaźnik HPI, HDI, GDI i GEM, - metoda standaryzacji, - test chi-kwadrat, - współczynnik zwartości socjoetnicznej, - typologia, - wskaźnik korelacji: Spearmana i Pearsona, Tau Kendalla, - test parametryczny (tStudenta), - testy nieparametryczne (K-S, chi2, Manna-Whitneya, Kruskalla-Wallisa), - praca z oprogramowaniem statystycznym SPSS, - operacje na dużych zbiorach danych, - graficzna prezentacja danych statystycznych, - metoda bonitacji punktowej. |
