Brief description

Students learn the principles of editing, in particular generalization of maps and spatial data in the selected computer programs GIS (ex. ArcGIS).

The scope of the course includes designing maps (cartographic presentation), in accordance with their purpose and the level of detail.

The source of cartographic visualization are spatial databases, included in the Polish spatial data infrastructure.

Practical use of selected software packages GIS, especially Model Builder functionality.

Brief description

The aim of this course is to prepare students for conducting analysis on satellite time series data. The course is a part of ERASMUS+ Strategic partnership E-TRAINEE (E-learning course on Time Series Analysis in Remote Sensing for Understanding Human-Environment Interactions, https://web.natur.cuni.cz/gis/etrainee/) project developed to provide theoretical and practical knowledge on methods used for information extraction from time series of remote sensing data.

Part used in the classes is oriented on the use of satellite multispectral images time series analysis and demonstrates the whole processing chain from the data acquisition, pre-processing multitemporal data, via classification or change detection methods to validation and accuracy assesment of final products.

Students will plan the data processing workflow and their own analysis.

Brief description

(in Polish) Studenci zapoznają się z funkcjonalnością oprogramowania Dron2Map oraz procesami technologicznymi wykorzystującymi obserwacje stereoskopowe i przetwarzaniem zdjęć pozyskanych za pomocą dronów. W trakcie zajęć laboratoryjnych opracowywane są pojedyncze stereogramy oraz modele zdjęć lotniczych pozyskanych cyfrową kamerą i bezzałogowymi systemami lotniczymi. Omawiane są strategie i zasady pomiaru zbioru punktów numerycznego modelu terenu oraz aktualizacji mapy sytuacyjno-wysokościowej. Na zajęciach omawiany jest proces budowy modeli zdjęć lotniczych, ich wizualizacji i stereo-digitalizacji.

Brief description

(in Polish) Programowanie ma za zadanie rozwinąć dotychczasową wiedzę studentów na temat zautomatyzowanego przetwarzania danych przestrzennych. Kluczowym zagadnieniem jest praktyczne wykorzystanie nabytych wcześniej umiejętności uczestników zajęć w zagadnieniu przetwarzania dużych ilości danych.

Ćwiczenia mają charakter praktycznego wykorzystania języka R i Python w przetwarzaniu danych przestrzennych.
